History

Delta Oil International (Deltaoil) is a company registered in 1994 and operating under the company laws of Sweden. From its beginning as a Sole Trader, Deltaoil primarily focused on acquisition and trading of oil products, such as crude oil, diesel, jet fuels, gasoline, marine fuels and lubricants.

Later during 1998 - 2000, Deltaoil's interest and focus shifted to acquisition of Crude oil for joint-processing under strategic partnerships with refineries. Our approach and business philosophy is to establish cooperation with other companies and maintaining global network that includes many agencies and organizations, which affords us access to key refineries and major oil companies.

Deltaoil Group consists of privately held independent companies operating worldwide, with offices in Sweden, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Peoples Republic of China and Nigeria.

With the Group’s core activities focusing on oil, gas and energy, the organizational structure and international network of highly qualified and dedicated professionals, who are able to penetrate important markets and establish good relationships with many companies; offer us good business opportunity to participate in the technology and construction business as well.

In 2006, Delta Oil International (Singapore) Pte Ltd (Deltaoil SG) was formed to take advantage of the growing oil trading market in the Asian pacific region.

In 2007, Delta Oil International (Hong Kong) Ltd (Deltaoil HK) was formed to focus attention and expand oil business into Mainland China, which was becoming the fastest growing oil market.

In 2008, Delta Oil International Co. Ltd, Taiwan (Deltaoil TW) was formed to take advantage of the two major oil refineries and highly developed technical and industrial base in Taiwan.

In 2009, Delta Oil Technical and Services (Shanghai) Co. Ltd (Deltaoil SH) was formed as a JV Company, establishing a strategic presence in Mainland China, PRC.

Encouraged by the positive developments in China, the introduction of the "Local Content" and "Petroleum Industry Bill" Deltaoil focused attention to Nigeria, where the Group plans to play significant role; and has formed in 2009:

Delta Oil International Development Co. Ltd (Deltaoil DC) to focus on strategic aspects of upstream and downstream businesses in the Nigerian oil industry as related to communities relationships and environment.

Delta Oil Global Energy Resources Ltd (Deltaoil GE) to focus and pursue exploration and production activities of oil and gas, including mining of coal, biomass and fuel from renewable resources. Deltaoil GE will handle all exports of crude oil on behalf of the Group,

Delta Oil Refining & Marketing Co. Ltd, (Deltaoil RM) to engage in downstream business of refining and marketing of oil products in the Nigerian market. Deltaoil RM will handle bulk of import and exports of refined petroleum products on behalf of the Group.

Delta Oil Shipping & Logistics (Nigeria) Ltd, (Deltaoil SL) to focus on handling crude oil and refined oil products transports and logistic requirements of the Group.

Delta Oil Technologies & Construction Ltd (Deltaoil TC) to provide technology and innovation to the Group's operations in Nigeria and elsewhere; and is the Lead Company for the Consortium organized to handle construction projects in civil, chemical/petrochemical, marine engineering, etc.

The concept of forming a Consortium around Deltaoil TC results from many years of cooperation and representation by Uni-World Engineering Co. Ltd, with more than 20 years experience in the Power, Petroleum, Chemical, Steel, Paper, Cement Industries, who has coordinated business dealings between Deltaoil and major oil refineries in Taiwan and China. This relationship assisted Deltaoil to realize great business opportunities offered by the refineries and highly developed technical and industrial experience from Taiwan.

Both Deltaoil and Uni-World decided to integrate activities under Deltaoil platform in 2008 and today, Deltaoil TW maintains the Group's core capacity to deliver Technical Knowhow, Engineering and Construction for any industry in Civil, Oil, Gas and Energy fields.
